People’s Emergency Briefing Tuesday 4th August 6.30 pm.
This is part of a nationwide effort to brief as many people as possible on the climate and nature crisis facing our country and on what can be done to address it. After the film we will hold a short discussion including what we might be able to do locally. May be repeated at 7.30pm as required.
Full Moon Labyrinth Walk Friday 28th August 8.00 pm
Join us for a peaceful evening walking our labyrinth Ariadne’s Thread beneath the light of the full moon. Whether you’re looking for a moment of quiet reflection, a chance to slow down after a busy week, an opportunity to meet new people or simply an excuse to spend time outdoors under the moonlight, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
Walking a labyrinth is not a maze – there are no wrong turns, and no special beliefs or experience are needed. You simply follow a single winding path at your own pace. Some people walk in silence, others enjoy chatting before and afterwards, while many simply appreciate the calm and beauty of the evening. Our labyrinth has wide, level paths that are suitable for most abilities, including wheelchair users and those who prefer an easy, gentle walk.
Come on your own, with a friend, or bring the whole family. Everyone is welcome, whatever your age, background or beliefs. The next walk is on Friday 28th August – 8.00pm We’d love to share these peaceful evenings with you. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Tipton Village Fete Monday 31st August
The Fete will again be on Tipton School Field in the centre of the village, admission remains at only £2 per adult (free for children), and there is ample free parking. Live music is again to be provided by our popular local musicians, Wonky Buzzard, and there will be games and activities for the children. Helpers are very welcome! Quiz Nights Return!
Quiz nights at the Community Hall start again soon beginning on Sunday 13th September and Sunday 11th October. Other dates will follow shortly. Organise your teams and book as soon as possible. It is always as full as we are allowed to have it.
