Nature Notes

Well, that was a summer to remember! It actually seemed to begin in spring and went right the way through to the beginning of September! Then someone immediately decided to flick the switch to autumn and it looks as though for all that sunshine we experienced, we will now have equal quantities of rain to balance the books. At least the rain is still warm … for the moment!

Tipton Fete 2025

August Bank Holiday Monday wouldn’t be the same without our annual Church Fete (for example, I could have a lie-in and wouldn’t need to worry about  the weather …), and we were again blessed with sunny weather and a successful and enjoyable day.

Rehearsals are well underway for the autumn production The Full Treatment by Michael Brett. We have one completely new face to the Tipton stage and several who haven’t been seen for a while, as well as the usual favourites. Do come and see what we have been up to, including the set in the capable hands of Linda Williams which promises to be well worth a look.

Tipton Times was started in 1969 and is produced and distributed to local households every two months by volunteers. Costs are met from voluntary contributions. You can also let us know via the contact box below if you would like to make a regular or one-off donation.

You can download the online version from our website but if you’d prefer to have your own regular copy sent to you via email, simply subscribe via the link at the bottom of this page.

Advertising is free and limited to local non-profit organisations and charities, with a once per year opportunity for businesses in our delivery area.
